About this cookbook

We published this book as a tribute to all that he is and to the extensive clientelle and group of friends he has gathered.

We have known Kham for since 1987 when he and a cousin opened the Arun Thai Restaurant in Sydney’s Elizabeth Bay, named after the famous Wat Arun on the Chao Phraya River. The restaurant quickly became a favourite with locals and Kham moved to a new restaurant in Macleay Street, Potts Point in 1995 designed along the traditional Thai ‘noble house’ style. He is currently open in the K2 building in Hong Kong.

All the recipes and location photographs were gathered during our journeys back to Thailand.
